Edwardian mantel clock housed in a bell top case with raised chinoiserie scenes on a yellow ground resting on gilded block feet and surmounted by a brass carrying handle.
Gilded dial with engine turned centre, Arabic numerals and original steel hands. Face is marked “Made in Switzerland” to lower edge.
Eight day Swiss movement with platform escapement, integral winding key and hand setting knob. C.1910. Marked to verso “Shreve Crump & Low Boston”.
