Pair of Chinese Ming dynasty style chairs standing on four square section legs. Square with rounded corners openwork backseat with circular-section rails adorned with an S-shaped back splat that is reversed on the top and exceeds a little bit above the top rail. Back splat engraved with a stylized Chinese symbol, probably “Shou”, symbol of longevity. Ornamentation of slightly sculpted ruyi clouds on the apron.
Work from 1900 perid, in the style of huanglhuali yoke-back chairs of the Chinese Dynasty.
Removable square cushion upholstered with a gold velvet imitation the galuchat (sharkskin) by Métaphores, reference Abysse Doré.
