“Pair of Export Porcelain Armorial Soup Plates, China, c. 1731, centering the arms of Yonge, enclosed by the motto of the order of the Bath, flanked by a boar and griffon, surmounted by a boar’s head and sitting atop the family motto, the arms surrounded by ornate borders in geometric motifs, as well as floral, pictorial, and heraldic decorations on the lip and inner wall, dia. 9 in.”
