Description

Antique Neapolitan Empire frame in gilded and carved wood belonging to the first decade of the 19th century. The whole frame is embellished with three orders of palmette carving typical of the Empire period to which it belongs. The gilding is 24kt leaf gold on a layer of Armenian bolus. Provenance: early 19th-century Naples. Measurements: 54x65cm. Document: Certificate of Authenticity.
