The sideboard is of good proportions and shows superb chinoiserie red-lacquered and gilt embossed doors depicting three men on a raft, with landscaped fore and background.
The interior is lined in satinwood and fitted with a shelf and two drawers, the two drawers having painted red lining. The interior is in very clean condition. I have had a key and a spare made to work the lock.
Brass cylinders connect the sideboard to its integral stand with carved white washed apron depicting birds and flowers.
Overall in very good clean condition, the ebonised finish has a few indentations, mainly to the top to note. I have tried to show some of these in photograph number 15. The washed white frieze has some rubbing with use and a small nick missing to the bird’s wing on the left hand side, as seen in photograph number 7. The right hand side chinoiserie door has had two small indentations, which have been coloured in. Please refer to the last two photographs.
The interior is 29.5 deep. The spaces are 23.5cm high.
Delivery is INCLUDED in the price for all areas in MAINLAND England & Wales.
