Just arrived back from the Upholstery Masters and wrapped in a spectacular and decidedly decadent velvet from Brunschwig et Fils. The fabric is exquisite, imported from Germany and $300 yd. ($4400 worth of upholstery fabric) The designers call the color chartreuse however in person is more a pale olive, has a knap running in both directions and is absolutely incredible to the touch. Called “circlettes” the upholstery reflects the light in the most brilliant of ways.
