Contemporary Design
The flexible LAUNDRY [v1] shelf was especially developed to store all one’s laundry. Finally an order-system for laundry, that will definitely facilitate the household! It was designed by Debora Däubl and Andreas Radlinger.
The basket rails are made of solid oiled birch (standard), free-hanging, 30 cm long – and always height-adjustable. The laundry bags are made of 100% Cotton canvas in plain weave. They are available in the following colors: mint green, dark gray, beige, etc. The fabric is very robust, has a firm grip, and weighs 350gr per running meter. Care label reads: 30° machine, iron with step 2 moderately hot, chemical laundry, no bleacher. The door hanger is made of stainless steel (standard) or copper (at 30 € extra charge). It simply hangs on the top edge of a door. There are two models of door hangers to pick from: one for the front and one for the back of the door (please see graphics)! The ropes are knotted by hand, also with a 5 cm distance, and very robust. They are designed to pull them through any drilled holes as desired. All ropes are available in three colors: Black, white, or silver-gray. The shelf-holders in stainless steel (standard) or copper (at 30 € extra charge) are clamped on top of a knot so as to place a shelf or other element on it.
All components of the pendulum shelf series can be arranged to create numberless other configurations with it, according to individual liking or lifestyle.
