This late 19th Century antique square Fruitwood Pedestal is highly accented with intricate hand carving and hand painting flowers and leaves done in the Anglo-Indian style.
The carving border and side panels of this Column are accented by cut out Arch decoration around the Middle and the skirt. The Religious Symbols are framed by green-bluish twisted wood carving and the Corners are hand-painted with scroll work.
In fair vintage condition with some wear due to History and a chip to the Carving at the top.
It is firm and sturdy to hold a large Sculpture.
An amazing Stand for large Sculptures, Aromatherapy Candles, Plants or just as Decoration in an Entry Hallway.
