A rare Egyptian revival scrolled arm burnt bamboo bench or side table. This vintage piece will be a perfect addition to a bedroom or formal living used as a side table. The sprawled legs are made from burnt bamboo (or tortoise or tiger bamboo) and feature splayed bamboo root feet. The scrolled arms on either side are flanked with woven wicker or rattan in a light brown. Bent rattan reeds accent around the edges in the same way that piping would accent upholstered pieces. Though the underside of the seat is reinforced with wood slats, we don’t recommend setting anything too heavy on it. Add this piece to any space to incorporate a natural element and ground the space.
