The Chinese Export porcelain bombe-form soup tureen, cover and stand is painted with blue enamel and gold baskets to front and back on the tureen and the cover. Around the shoulder of the tureen is a thin band of gilt chain on an orange ground and painted on each side with two different groupings pf flowers or fruit. The same decoration repeated on the stand with a large central blue enamel basket. There is no repair and there is come crazing on the stand. There is gilt rubbing on the crown of the flowerhead finial (see photo).
