Vintage Design
Return from Egypt style saddle, gilt bronze ornaments depicting a bird with wings spread on the belt, on the four feet a lion’s head on the top corners and four busts of sphinxes below. The feet are made of blackened and gilded wood imitating bamboo and end with four bronze clogs. The earthenware tray with painted decoration represents a group of camels and Bedouins in front of the colossus of Memnon. The lower plate is in marquetry. Dimensions : 0.78 m high and 0.38 x 0.38 m for the upper shelf.
