Small Half-moon chest of drawers, composed of two categories of Mahogany: wire for the structure, Moiré and veneered for the fronts of the sashes.
Its top is a period Marble, White with Grey veining and Gorge cut around the edges.
This piece of furniture has three drawers in three rows, the first one in the belt being less deep than the two others. Each of them is trimmed with brass, more precisely with a keyhole and two small square drop handles.
This chest of drawers also has two curved side doors, revealing spaces that are compartmentalized by shelves on fixed slats. They are fitted with original locks in working order and the cabinet is supplied with its five current keys.
The drawer and door fronts are decorated with frame strips, thus highlighting the beautiful Moiré de l’Acajou that they are made of.
The set rests on four turned legs, with brass rings on the top and brass shoes on the bottom.
The back and sides of the drawers as well as the back of the cabinet are in Oak.
One will appreciate the reasonable dimensions of this Small Half-moon Chest of Drawers, as well as the softness of its lines. In spite of its 250 years of history, it is without exaggerated pretension or useless embellishments that it will nevertheless bring a certain cachet to your interior.

Perfect condition after restoration in our workshop. Finish only waxed on a hard background. Polished and glossy marble.
