Antique 19th Century Chinese export solid silver tea glass holders, octagonal shaped, the sides are beautifully decorated in relief with various scenes depicting animals and birds in landscape, very crisp and detailed, the front engraved with elaborate initials (Russian AF), the handle is beautifully modelled as a dragon. Hallmarked Chinese Export silver marks (acid tested shows a + silver standard), Maker’s mark in Chinese for Yu Sheng & Yong Ji (silversmiths active in Canton), later Latvian import marks (750 standard).
