Vintage Design
This excellent early 20th-century Gustavian style set of six dining chairs features new blue silk upholstery. The set comes from the reading room of an ancient residence on Lake Como belonging to an important aristocratic family of Venice. The living room of the reading room belonged to the last heir of ancient noble family ‘Della Torre di Rezzonico’. This branch of the family is originally from the village of Rezzonico on Como Lake. Andrea Erecco Della Torre would be the ancestor that gave origin to the Della Torre Rezzonico family.
