This small antique brass tray table shows no maker’s signature, but is presumed to have been made in China in approximately 1920 in the period Chinese Export style. The top of the tray is done in solid brass with a raised scalloped shape, with a raised pie crust edge. The surface of the tray is decorated with engraved figures in the center with accenting engraving around these central figures. The folding base is constructed of a softwood with an ebonized finish with cut accents at the top and to the feet.
