The Chinese Export famille rose plates are molded in the form of a European silver shape with an undulating rim. The central well is painted with pink chrysanthemum plants and flowers with other plants against the white background. On the border, in each of the six lobes, is a painting of smaller grouping of flowers. The rim with a continuous band of gilt scrolls on a brown red ground.
