This exceptional Japanese silver serving bowl has a plain circular rounded form onto a plain circular swept, spreading foot.
The body of this antique silver bowl is embellished with impressive engraved traditional oriental chrysanthemum floral and foliate designs.
The decoration to the body incorporates gilded ornamentation to the centre of the flowers.
