Vintage Design
An interesting design solution – the chair backs and legs are made of one metal strip that smoothly changes from one element to another. The geometric, semicircular shape of the seat is emphasized by colored plywood slats, bent in a semicircle.
The form of the chairs, although inspired by the tradition of modernist tubular furniture, has been solved in a new way. Transforming and re-composing the forms and solutions encountered so far in art is a characteristic feature of postmodernism. This trend in art, unlike modernism, rejected avant-garde ambitions in favor of compiling and composing, playing with form, establishing and processing known motifs in a new way.
